On January 27, 2024, Angelina Von Pauter gained her angel wings far too soon. Fifty-eight years on this Earth was not nearly enough time to spend with such an extraordinary person, though no amount of time would ever truly be enough. More than just a ray of light, Angelina was the sunshine to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her blonde hair was a tangible reflection of the radiance she brought to the lives of those around her. A devoted mother, a caring daughter, and a loving wife, Angelina was the heart of her family. She stood as their pillar of strength and inspiration every day, especially during her courageous battle with breast cancer. Angelina continuously astounded doctors with her upbeat attitude and fighting spirit as she beat several odds along the way, despite battling a form of breast cancer that afflicts less than 1% of people. She never complained about the hand dealt to her in life. Instead, in true "Angelina" fashion, she faced every obstacle with the grace and determination that defined her. Everything she did was special - Angelina was truly a unique woman. Those who had the privilege of knowing her will remember her distinct fashion sense characterized by her blue mascara, winged eyeliner, black fur-trimmed poncho, love for all things Versace, and her signature Manolo Blahniks and Louboutins. More importantly, her ability to lend an empathetic ear, offer genuine advice, provide endless encouragement, and share her contagious laughter is what will forever define her in our memories. Angelina's phone rang nonstop each day - a testament to the love that people had for speaking to her. Her favorite calls were from her two daughters, whom she raised with unwavering love and support. As a Polish immigrant, Angelina embodied the American Dream by building a successful career in the mortgage industry and paving the way for her daughters to reach their goals. It was always Angelina's dream for her daughters to pursue law, which she accomplished through her endless guidance and encouragement. She fought hard for what she wanted out of life and will always be remembered by her family as a fierce, strong, and determined woman. Angelina will be deeply missed by her friends and family, and is survived by her mother, husband, and two daughters.
