Jolanta Lidia Londene

Jolanta Lidia Londene (nee Rajski), 65, of Wallington, passed on Thursday, December 26, 2024. Jolanta was born in Lodz, Poland, and emigrated to the United States when she was 2 years old. She grew up in Clifton, NJ, and raised her daughters in Wallington, NJ, moving to Wanaque, NJ, where she had her son Casey Londene. Eventually, she returned to Wallington to help her parents, and this remained her residence until her passing. Jolanta graduated from Montclair State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Master's Degree in Business Administration. Jolanta was a dedicated and accomplished professional who served as Finance Controller for the Diocese of Paterson. She approached her career with integrity and a deep sense of purpose. Her work positively impacted many, and the relationships she built along the way were the most rewarding part of her professional journey. Her commitment and unwavering kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she has worked with. Jolanta's love for her family and her Catholic faith were at the center of her life. She will be remembered for her strength, warmth, and the joy she brought to those around her. Family is what truly defined her, she was a devoted caretaker of her parents and mother to her children and granddaughter. She was a woman full of life. She was kind, caring, and had a warmth that drew people to her. She loved to bake and was known for her delicious sourdough bread and pastries. She was the heart of all our family gatherings and loved planning all the details for the events we would have, most often as the host. She loved to garden and go to the beach. Above all, her main interest was her family and being there for them. Jolanta was the beloved wife of the late Edward C. Londene, whose memory she kept alive in her heart, the devoted mother of Jessica Caputo and her partner, Andrew Ostojich, Christina Roskoski and her partner, Jordan Max Chamberlain, and Casey Londene, the caring grandmother of Lydia Chamberlain, and the cherished sister of John Rajski and his wife, Barbara, and the loving aunt of Valerie Sobers and John Rajski, Jr. and the proud great-aunt of Evelyn, Harrison, and Vivian.
