Theresa H. Coldon

Theresa H. Coldon, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on April 9, 1941, in Passaic, New Jersey, Theresa was a lifelong resident of Wallington, where she built a life centered on faith, family, and service to her community. Theresa was the beloved daughter of the late Walter Konefal and the late Aniela Konefal (nee Jozefczyk). She dedicated the early years of her life to raising her children, a role she treasured above all else. Later, she pursued a career as a librarian at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Library in Wallington, where she faithfully served the community for 25 years. Her love of books and learning made the profession a perfect reflection of who she was. A faithful parishioner of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church in Wallington, Theresa lived a life guided by kindness, compassion, and quiet devotion. She found great joy in reading and was an avid reader throughout her life. She also enjoyed knitting, sewing, and crocheting, creating countless handmade treasures for those she loved. Above all, Theresa cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought immeasurable happiness to her life. Theresa was predeceased by her beloved husband, Kenneth Coldon, with whom she shared many wonderful years of marriage. She leaves behind her loving children: Angela Kneser; Keith J. Coldon Sr. and his fiancée, Gina; and Kevin Coldon and his wife, Christine. She was the proud and devoted grandmother of Joseph, Allison, Danielle and her husband, Vincent, Joey, Keith Jr. and his husband, Chris, Kyle, and Brian and his wife, Katie. She was also the adored great-grandmother of Claire, Daniella, Frank, and Mila. Theresa is also survived by her dear siblings, William Konefal and his wife, Barbara; James Konefal and his wife, Patricia; and Christine Sansone and her husband, Thomas, along with many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss her deeply. Theresa will be remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering love for her family, generous heart, and the warmth she shared with everyone who knew her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Theresa's life and honor the many memories she leaves behind. May she rest in eternal peace.
