Darren Vincent Giampietro

Darren Vincent Giampietro, 53, of Garfield, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021. Darren was born in Passaic, and lived in Clifton for 30 years before settling in Garfield 23 years ago. He worked for Goodfellas Ristorante in Garfield for many years and was a parishioner of Faith Reformed Church in Lodi. Darren was a loving son, and a terrific brother. He loved his family and he loved the Lord. He was a devout Christian & enjoyed his Bible Studies. He had a heart that was made of gold and was always willing to do for others before himself. Darren was so proud of his Christmas decorations and loved to have his family and friends over for Christmas every year. His favorite football team was the Pittsburgh Steelers. Darren was the beloved son of Marianne Agarkovenko (nee Gangale) and Viktor Agakovenko and loving brother of Frank Giampietro and his wife, Allison and Suzanne Giampietro McDonald. Darren will be missed by many as he touched the hearts of everyone he met.
