Lottie Rostkowski Mully

December 12, 1919 - May 9, 2015

Lottie Rostkowski Mully, 95, lifelong resident of Garfield, passed away at home in the loving company of her family on Saturday, May 9, 2015. Born on December 12, 1919 to Anthony and Feliska (nee Basinski) Rostkowski, she was one of ten children. Her late brothers, Chester, Zigmund, Edward, Joseph, Peter, John, and sister Genevieve passed before her. Surviving are sisters Eleanor of Del Rey Beach, Florida, and Stasia of Garfield. Lottie was the loving wife of the late Emil Mully, the devoted mother to Roberta and Dr. John R. Mully, and a proud grandmother of Nicholas, Katie, and Ryan. Prior to her retirement, she was a seamstress at King's Bedding in Paterson, where she met her future husband. A wartime bride, she worked throughout her beloved country returning to Garfield. She continued working and also volunteering for the Association for Retarded Children to help her daughter Roberta, who suffered from Polio and Cerebral Palsy. She continued to work to help put her son John through Fairleigh Dickinson University Dental School. John now practices in Saddle Brook. Lottie was the backbone of a large and proud Polish family and will truly be missed. But knowing she was a devoted parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka R.C. Church, God will take care of her. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Stanislaus Kostka R.C. Church, in memory of Lottie Mully, would be appreciated.
