Marian Polny

March 9, 1947 - March 12, 2020

Marian Polny, 73, of Garfield, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020. Marian was born in Kol-ulow, Poland and emigrated to the United States in 1974, living in Brooklyn, NY for 2 years before settling in Garfield, NJ. He was a Mason by trade and worked for Jon Construction in Saddle Brook for 24 years. He was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka R.C. Church in Garfield and was a proud veteran of the Polish Army. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his beloved family in his free time. He will always be fondly remembered for bringing laughter to those around him and he will be sorely missed. Marian was the beloved husband of Krystyna (Golec) Polna, of Garfield, devoted father of Mark Polny and his wife, Rosa, of Garfield, and the late Daniel Polny, dear grandfather of Michael Polny and loving brother of Jozef Polny and the late Tadeusz Polny and Maria Neuman.
