MaryAnn Romanchick

January 12, 1941 - January 9, 2017

MaryAnn Romanchick, 75, passed away peacefully at home, Monday, January 9, 2017, with her loving family by her side. MaryAnn was born in Garfield and has lived there her entire life. She was an Executive Secretary for Dassault Falcon Jet Corporation in Teterboro. She also worked for Temco Home Healthcare Products Company in Passaic, Acme International in Maplewood, and then returned to Dassault Falcon Jet until she retired. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph's R.C. Church in East Rutherford. MaryAnn was the devoted daughter of the late Michael and Josephine (nee Saikowski) Romanchick, dearest sister of Arlene J. Surdyka, and her husband Frederick, of Wood Ridge, loving companion and friend of Howard Lanza of Garfield, cherished aunt of Lisa Ann Perno-Gelewski, and her husband Michael, of Glen Rock, and beloved "Auntie Ro" to great-niece Emily Maya and great-nephew Michael Paul Gelewski. MaryAnn is also survived by many loving cousins, family, and friends. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in MaryAnn's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Pl. Memphis, TN 38105 or the American Cancer Society 20 Mercer St. Hackensack, NJ 07601.
