Stanley Edward Pajenski

August 17, 1920 - March 25, 2015

Stanley Edward Pajenski, 94, a resident of Emeritus of Paramus at the time of his passing on Wednesday, March 25 , 2015. He lived at the Senior Horizons in Clifton and in Saddle Brook for much of his life. He was born August 17, 1920 in Passaic to Mary (nee Furtak) and Josef Pajenski and grew up in Wallington. He is survived by sister Stella Novabilsky, and her husband Edward , of New Port Richie, F L. , sister Sonia " Sophie " Sikora, and her husband Fred , of Forked River, brother John Pajenski and Loretta Clacken of Wayne , and was predeceased by h is sister, Marie, who died as an infant. Stanley was a proud Navy veteran serving aboard the USS Somers during World War II and was a member of the Tin Can Sailors, American Legion and VFW. He worked as a mail handler for the US Postal Service in Hackensack, and as a furniture slip-cover craftsman. Stanley was a parishioner of St. Phillip's R.C. Church in Saddle Brook. Stanley married Nellie, (nee Rucidlo) the love of his life, in May of 1946 and raised three loving children ; daughters Christine DePeola, and her husband Robert, of Saddle Brook, Lorraine Renosis, and her husband Jack, of Fort Myers, Florida, and son Gary Pajenski, and his wife Sandra (nee Brandt), of Lake Hopatcong. His grandchildren were his greatest joy, and he would spend endless hours with Matthew, Robyn, & Bobby DePeola, Cory and Spencer Renosis, and Angela, Joseph & Daniel Pajenski. His joy continued as his great grandchildren, Emma, Madeline, & Austin DePeola, and Anthony Luzzi blessed his life. A gentle, kind, and loving man, h e will be greatly missed and will remain in our hearts forever. He had a subtle, dry sense of humor and was loved for his silly jokes. He enjoyed fishing and gardening, often battling the backyard wildlife at harvest time.
